In a well-coordinated operation, Assam Rifles and Ambassa Police intercepted a major smuggling attempt near General Area Ambassa in Dhalai District, Tripura. The operation led to the recovery of 189 kgs of dry marijuana, costing approximately Rs 85 lakh in the international market. A Bolero vehicle bearing registration number AS-01-BD-2309 was also seized during the operation.Two individuals were apprehended in connection with the smuggling activity.
